Membership and advertising renewal invoices for 2016 are scheduled to go out this week. As a membership organization, your dues and advertising in the printed directory and online directory allow INBA to provide staff to organize events and benefits to members such as the list of accomplishments below. So, please consider renewing you membership when your invoice arrives. To help our membership grow we also have a member referral program with discounts off your own member dues.

• INBA was the only chamber in the region to sign the amicus brief regarding Obergefell vs. Hodges that later went to the Supreme Court to pass Marriage Equality across the nation
• Launched LGBTSpokane.com site to promote LGBT Tourism to Spokane and provide a resource for our local LGBT community
• Launched INBA Weekly, a weekly style newsletter that better highlights INBA member businesses as well as regional and national LGBT news
• As of August, INBA has hosted 228 lunches since 1994, making it the longest continuous LGBT event in Spokane
• INBA attended the Western Business Alliance Chamber Leadership Summit in Palm Springs, to continue improving our membership and chamber programs
• INBA staff provided powerful education and consultation to our chamber partner, Rockwood Health Systems, helping them to become a more inclusive health system
• INBA’s General Manager was invited to Rotary 21 to present the history and need for an LGBTA chamber in Spokane
• INBA performed outreach to the community and distributed directories at South Perry Street Fair, Unity in the Community, as well as Pride Festivals in Coeur d’Alene, Spokane, and Tri-Cities. Look for us at The Spokane End AIDS Walk and ValleyFest, on September 26
• INBA Outreach, provided a $1500 scholarship to a local gay student preparing to enter college and sponsored a LGBT Holocaust exhibit at the Human Rights Education Institute in Coeur d’Alene
• This is only a small list of what INBA was able to accomplish in the first half of 2015.  It is because of members like you that INBA is able to foster the growth of a diverse and inclusive LGBTA business community.
