This year’s edition of the INBA Business Directory marks the 20th year INBA has been providing this resource to Spokane’s LGBTQA business community. 96 pages, packed with members from every industry across the Inland Northwest.
Distribution for the directory will begin as soon as the printed copies are received at INBA offices. For a list of distribution locations, to add your business to the list, or to request additional copies, click here or call INBA at (509) 455-3699
In addition to our established distribution locations, consumers will be able to pick up a directory at select Inlander stands three times in 2016. Look for them In February, in June, in time for Pride, and in then in the fall. The directories have also been stocked at Spokane International Airport for a few years to make sure every visitor knows which businesses contribute to our mission of making the Inland Northwest a welcoming and diverse region.
INBA also expanded its membership, and the types of businesses listed in our directory, adding video production as the newest category. INBA grew by over 10% this year! As of this post, we have 246 members. Over 75% of our businesses are sole proprietorships and small businesses. No other chamber can boast such a strong focus on the “little guy.” Ten percent of our members are non-business, individual supporters of INBA.
We have our eye on reaching 300 members in the coming years, which would likely set us up in top two or three local business chambers. Right now, we’re the fourth largest chamber in the region behind Greater Spokane Incorporated, Greater Spokane Valley Chamber, and West Plains Chamber. We are the only chamber focused on diversity and inclusion, evidenced by our formal endorsement of marriage equality a few years ago. As a small chamber we serve a large geographic area, covering eastern Washington and northern Idaho.
Our members receive special discounts on INBA and other community events, as well as member-to-member discounts on products and services.
There are several membership options, choose the one that best suits your business, or join as an individual!
