As part of a grand opening/open house, AdvantagePlusCaregivers.com® is working to give back to the community by hosting a Book Fair and Networking Event for professionals in the home care, elder care, and medical fields.
AdvantagePlusCaregivers.com® is a full service home care agency, providing a full range of care-giving services including; assisting the elderly, helping those needing rehabilitation, and supervising our children or caring for newborns. Research has shown that reading is one of the greatest ways the senior population can keep mentally agile, while keeping the convalescing entertained. By donating books, we can help by promoting positive feelings and upbeat attitudes.
There is no cost to attend, but attendees are encouraged to donate any books, magazines, periodicals or other reading material (thank you – no newspapers needed, and please, no already used crossword or Sudoku) to be donated to the various Senior Centers, Assisted Living Facilities, Rehabilitation Centers, Retirement Homes, and Full Care Nursing Homes in the Spokane and surrounding areas.
The event will take place at our office on June 18th from 5pm to 8pm in the Tapio Office Center, in the Red Flag Building at 104 South Freya Street, Suite 201, Spokane, WA 99202. This open house will feature the work of local artist Walter Davis. Hosts will also be serving refreshments, snacks, and assorted wines from local wineries.
