March Networking Luncheon: Dr. Paul Kuber's "BBQ Science!"
What do jelly beans have to do with barbecue? Dr. Paul Kuber reveals the science behind taste, and how to grill your way to mouth-watering perfection.

Mid-February brought warm, sunny weather to Spokane and a hint of summer just around the corner. Summer means fun in the sunshine and the savory smells of barbecue so to help you get your grill skills in gear, Dr. Paul Kuber joins us to reveal “The Facts Behind Great BBQ”.

INBA is proud to bring you a slightly different presentation this March. Join us on Wednesday, March 9th for an excursion from our usual business and non-profit presentations, for this fun get-together.

Avid grillers and BBQ masters will tell you there is an art to perfectly cooking a piece of meat over the coals or flame, but there’s also a science to it. Dr. Kuber is an Associate Professor with WSUExtension and serves as a Regional Livestock Extension Specialist for Northeast Washington. He will explain the science that occurs when we prepare and grill our favorite meats. Dr. Kuber was previously at Ohio State University where he created and served as the lead instructor for a unique class titled “BBQ Science”.
