Christmas Comes Early for INBA Outreach

INBA Outreach receives surprise $5,000 donation from STCU.1531971_956903787680076_6300527502915461985_o (1)

A picture is worth a thousand words, but from INBA General Manager Marvo Reguindin himself, here’s a post from his Facebook page describing just how meaningful this donation is to the Outreach Scholarship fund.

This morning, I remembered that last Friday while I was running a conference in Seattle, my INBA Board president texted me that he wanted to drop something off to me next Friday morning (today) at 9 am. I made it to the office a little early and Lance brings in a box of INBA directories that he had in his car. And I thought to myself, “You texted me for an appointment to deliver this box when you could of given it to me at last night’s board meeting?”
Then two other STCU people walk in–one of them the CEO and I knew something was going on, and for some reason I was also a bit worried. After a wonderful short speech about what a wonderful purpose INBA Outreach serves in the community they unrolled this big check for $5,000! I was speechless and moved to tears, which never, ever, happens!
Thank you Lance Kissler for all of the volunteer time you give to Outreach, INBA (and all of Spokane) and for honoring INBA Outreach for this donation. We are truly blessed by your leadership!

INBA Outreach is the non-profit arm of INBA – Inland Northwest Business Alliance that provides scholarships and internships to LGBT and ally students pursuing higher education.
