Small Business Administration partners with INBA

INBA is offering 6 courses through the SBA to help your small business this Fall/Winter. This course will be held at the Downtown Spokane Library from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM  Cost to attend individual classes are $10/members and $15/non-members.  Please contact Sierra VanderHoogt at staff@inbachamber or 509-455-3699 for payment and registration code. Click on the links below to read more about the event and register and pay for the class. Each class is designed to be a stand alone workshop.

  1. October 19th – Business Planning
    Looking to learn more about how to help your small business? Business Planning put on by the Small Business Association can help teach you what you need to know to map your business for the next 1, 3 or even 5 years.
  2. November 16th – Government Contracting Opportunities
    Looking to learn more about how to help your small business? Government Contracting Opportunities are available for all sizes of businesses, yes even yours! Upon completion, you will be able to apply knowledge to market your firm’s products and services to the federal government.
  3. January 18th – Cash Flow
    What you need to know to create a usable cash flow plan for the life of your business. In this class you will learn why it is important to create and regularly use a cash flow plan, what comprises a cash flow plan and when you need to create one.
  4. February 15th- Borrowing Money
    How should you borrow money for your small business? SBA will address proper protocol for doing so.
  5. March 15th – Succession Planning
    The truth is that many small business owners have no exit strategy for their businesses in the event of their disability, retirement, or death. Learn how to plan for succession in your business.
  6. April 19th – Marketing
    Successful marketing requires timely and relevant market information. Learn how to best market your business for success.
