Whole Family Insurance - Member Spotlight - 5/18

10993411_396850887143354_6838835438544530722_n This week’s member spotlight comes to you from the Tri-Cities. Whole Family Insurance, founded and run by David Nelson and Eric Icayan, is based out of Richland. They pride themselves on opening their doors to everyone in the surrounding region, and they mean everyone. “As an independently operated agency, we get to set our own values in business, and we believe everyone has a right to these services.

Both Eric and David have lived in Richland for most of their lives. Eric was born there and David’s family moved there when he was only four. The two chose to establish their business in the community that they love in order to give back. David says that when they were approached about joining INBA, “we jumped at the chance to do our part to better our community.”

10639639_365329300295513_2757142173838342379_nWhole Family Insurance offers term and whole life health insurance options and family planning services including college and retirement funds. The foundation of their business is rooted in providing care and peace of mind for everyone in their community. David and Eric both have growing families and believe that family is the most important aspect of their lives. By placing family-first the co-owners make sure that their business is ethical and inclusive. “We believe in equality, and although there are anti-discrimination laws in place that does not necessarily mean that people of the LGBT community will feel welcome.” David and Eric are clear that their business is open to all families, regardless of what each family looks like.
