If you haven’t heard already, the 2015 Inland Northwest Business Alliance directories are printed and delivered. A directory will be sent to every advertiser and member, but if you would like more to hand out to friends, co-workers, family, or clients there are plenty available. We also have display boxes for your office that can hold 10 directories.
INBA’s Membership Manager and staff encourages members to use the directory as a marketing tool. Don’t just take one, take as many directories as you can and hand them out to current or potential clients to show your support of the LGBT community.
Word of mouth marketing from trusted friends and family members is the most important marketing tool in your arsenal. Consider this fact from a July, 2014 Forbes article, “According to Nielsen, 92% of consumers believe recommendations from friends and family over all forms of advertising.” Support your fellow INBA members, businesses, and professionals by recommending their products and services.
Unlike other business chamber directories, the INBA directory is the primary community resource of business and services that are LGBT or a straight ally that supports and acknowledges the LGBT community. Most businesses in the directory offer discounts to INBA members and the the LGBT consumer if you ask. You’ll have to look inside to see if your favorite businesses are participating INBA members, but we’ve compiled a list of this year’s new members and categories for your convenience. One of the biggest additions is Rockwood Health Systems, the first local health care group to acknowledge the LGBT community. INBA is working with Rockwood Health Systems to also make changes on input forms that are more LGBT friendly.
Visit inbaspokane.org/need-an-inba-directory for a list of distribution points at member’s businesses around the city.
