During this election year, many people, businesses, and INBA members have expressed that 2016 has been a year of changes, and for INBA, 2016 is no different.
Last week, our much-loved Membership Manager, Christopher Zilar, informed staff and the board that he has accepted a job as the Director of Vocational Rehabilitation with the Spokane Tribe of Indians. The board has known that Christopher has been transitioning his family to live in the Wellpinit area for the past 18 months shortly after his wife began working for the Spokane Tribe of Indians. Christopher’s last day with INBA will be Thursday November 3rd, and he has provided a letter to the membership to express his thoughts.
Another change was the return of past board president Charles Smaltz from two years in Portland, OR. Charles immediately asked to help with membership and directory sales which he has done for INBA over the past 20 years. Charles has been working with Christopher to finalize membership and directory advertising contracts before the November 30th deadline and will serve as INBA’s membership point of contact as of next week.
