The North Idaho Pride Alliance is proud to organize the 3rd Annual Pride in the Park on June 3, 2017. Pride in the Park is a FREE family-friendly community picnic, celebrating diversity and building a safer and stronger community for all. There will be food, entertainment, a family area and community resource tables. The event will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Band Shelter and Picnic Shelter at Coeur d’Alene Park, located at Northwest Blvd. and Mullan Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.

Headlining the entertainment will be the Angela Marie Project and Kathy Colton and the Reluctants.  The children’s area will feature face painting, games, coloring and more.  Food will be brought to you by Big Bear Deli of Post Falls.

“Pride in the Park is an event that focuses on unifying our community by celebrating our diversity. We welcome all who believe in moving equality forward to join us in this celebration.” said Juli Stratton, Executive Director, North Idaho Pride Alliance. The North Idaho Pride Alliance and community partners are working together to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people into every aspect of our community. “We have tremendous talents, strengths and diversity within the LGBT community, and our greater Coeur d’Alene community, and that is something to celebrate!” said Stratton. “Coeur d’Alene is a beautiful place with so many warm and welcoming people.”

The North Idaho Pride Alliance is an organization of LGBT people, their families and their friends who are building a stronger and safer community through relationship building, education and advocacy.
