Save the Date: After hours INBA event at Civic Theater

Book by Del Shores, and Directed by Lance Babbitt, Sordid Lives is coined “A Black Comedy About White Trash.” When Peggy, a good Christian woman, hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover’s wooden legs in a motel room, chaos erupts in Winters, Texas.

On February 4, 2016, Spokane Civic Theatre, a long-time INBA member, has reserved 50 tickets for this performance of Sordid Lives specifically for INBA members and their guests. Each ticket includes entrance to the INBA-exclusive networking event prior to the show with hors d’oeuvres (catered by Cynfully Delicious, a new INBA member) and no-host bar (tended by Civic Theatre staff).

Thursday, February 4th. Networking (INBA only) 6:15 – 7:15 Play begins 7:30 in Studio Theatre (under main Theatre)

Originally premiering in 1996 in Los Angeles, Sordid Lives is an R-rated cult-classic stage play popular for its combination of LGBT and southern themes. Written by Del Shores and initially met with mixed reviews, the play has since won 14 Drama-Logue Awards and was adapted as and independent film in 2000.
