The West Plains Transit Center is planned to be a fully operational transit center near Exit 272 off Interstate 90. It will have more than 100 parking stalls, bus loading platforms and shelters, and other transit amenities like bike lockers for commuters.  See the attached Fact Sheet for more information.

The project is intended to improve connectivity among the cities of Airway Heights, Medical Lake and Cheney, and improve overall access to transit in the West Plains area as it sees continued investment in commercial, industrial and residential development.

Please join us at the Irv Reed Center at the Spokane International Airport, on Tuesday, March 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to learn more about the West Plains Transit Center.  Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback on design elements and traffic impacts.
