Transgender Day of Remembrance - Hosted by Spokane TALL

Spokane TALL- Transgender, Advocacy, Learning and Leadership is a local group dedicated to supporting the needs of the transgender community through education, advocacy and training.  Spokane Tall will be hosting an event for TransgenderScreen Shot 2015-11-09 at 2.09.33 PM Day of Remembrance on November 21st from 6-8pm at Spark Center in Kendall Yards.

It is a day to remember those in the trans community whom have been murdered and have committed suicide. This year, there have been 21 confirmed murders of transgender women in the United States alone and nearly 25 suicides.
