Winston & Cashatt Lawyer, Kevin J. Curtis, receives Champion of Innocence Award

kcurtisKevin J. Curtis of Winston & Cashatt, Lawyers is the recipient of the Innocence Project Northwest’s prestigious Champion of Innocence Award in recognition of his legal representation  resulting in the exoneration and release of Jeramie Davis, who was wrongfully convicted of  1st Degree Murder in 2008 and who  served nearly six years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Curtis will be presented the award at the INPW Benefit and Awards Banquet in Seattle, Washington on May 12, 2016.

Curtis has been named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Washington State by the National Trial Lawyers  and was inducted in the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2015. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been annually named as a SuperLawyer by Washington Law & Politics magazine each year since 2008.

IPNW was founded in 1997 to exonerate the innocent, remedy causes of wrongful conviction, and offer law students an outstanding education. Since its inception, IPNW’s efforts have resulted in the exoneration and release of 14 clients listed in the National Registry of Exonerations, who have collectively served over 100 years in prison for crimes they did not commit.
