Amy Biviano is a local CPA and INBA board member who is active in nonprofit and small business tax and business consulting. She credits the INBA directory and loyal networking base for helping her grow her business by leaps and bounds in the past four years. “While I belong to several other local chambers of commerce and frequently attend various networking events, bar none the INBA has been my single best source of referrals and contacts,” Amy said when asked about her membership.
Additionally, Amy is hosting a fundraiser later this month for the Epilepsy Foundation on* Thursday, July 30th*, gathering around 5 at the Valley Spokane Club close to my house: 5900 E 4th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99212. RSVP and check the facebook event page for more details.
“You know about my struggle with epilepsy, so you also know just how important this cause is to me,” Amy writes in her invitation. “The Epilepsy Foundation has been a critical part of my life, especially when I had brain surgery in 2003 and my pacemaker in 2011. They’ve also been there connecting me with others with seizure disorders and raising money to fund research for a cure.”The event will feature an auction with all proceeds going to the Epilepsy Foundation. Some cool stuff already committed to the event includes ticket packages to local sporting events, including the Spokane Indians baseball and Spokane Chiefs hockey, theater ticket packages, camping get-away with a fully stocked camper, hotel stay at Northern Quest, locally made artwork and photography at one of the best studios in town.

“Running has really been an important part of my treatment, both regulating my brain chemistry and giving me the self reliance to move forward on difficult days.” says Amy. “So I’m super excited to be combining two big parts of my life and running the NYC Marathon with Athletes vs. Epilepsy in November.“
