Michael Burrows is attending Whitworth University and pursuing an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. He is passionate about equal rights and inclusion, and as President of the University’s Pride club, he hopes to impact the atmosphere on campus for LGBT+ students. He has participated in planning events such as Night of Noise with GLSEN and Day of Silence to raise awareness. His goal is to become a counselor for LGBT+ youth.
Informed by his own experiences, Michael is passionate about serving LGBTQ community members in a way that is genuine and profoundly helpful. We were extremely touched by his love for honest connection. Michael has demonstrated time and time again that his work is driven by a desire to serve his fellow community members. We see great innovation and impact coming from him in the future.
