Help us find out what issues Allies face at work.
People who support their LGBT colleagues at work are described as ‘LGBT Allies’. We know they are important but there exists almost no research about the kinds of issues they face – and how we can all help them support LGBT people in the workplace.
Now, you can help change that.
Out Now has worked for 25 years on better understanding and meeting the needs of LGBT people at work. I write to ask for your help.
Our new research into LGBT Allies and the issues they face is happening right now. There is an online survey at http://Work.LGBT which takes around 6 – 8 minutes to complete. You can write-in additional information as well if you would like to.
The survey is for non-LGBT people and LGBT people. It is for people who consider themselves Allies and for people who have never been an Ally or people that want to learn more about the issues Allies can face.
Below you can find some easy ways you can get involved to help us grow the knowledge base in this important area.
Most importantly, we want to ask that you share this link as widely as possible all through February 2016: http://Work.LGBT – with your work colleagues, your social networks, family members, friends. Everywhere you can to help.
Allies are there for LGBT people and we want to help learn more about the issues they face.
I want to thank you very much for your help in furthering this important project.
Out Now will be releasing the results later this year globally in the new free report: ‘LGBT Allies: The Power of Friends‘ – your input and that of your colleagues will have a direct bearing on the research findings.
