
Timothy R. Fischer brings to the firm a strong background in bankruptcy, real estate, commercial litigation, and corporate transactional work. A 2007 graduate of Gonzaga Law School, Tim has been practicing law in Washington since 2008 and joined Winston & Cashatt in 2013. He is currently President-Elect of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Eastern District of Washington, and serves as Editor of the Association’s newsletter. Tim is also a regular presenter and lecturer on numerous bankruptcy and real estate topics. As an active member of the Spokane community, Tim especially enjoys appearing in area schools to introduce students to their civil rights and to assist teachers with mock trials. “I am excited and honored to become a principal at Winston & Cashatt,” said Fischer.
Lisa A. Malpass joined Winston & Cashatt, Lawyers in 2014, bringing more than a decade of experience in the areas of guardianship, including appointments as a Title 11 Guardian ad Litem; simple estate planning, with occasional Medicaid planning and social security administration disability; probate; and vulnerable adult protection order and defense of DSHS administrative actions. Lisa has been licensed as an attorney in Washington State since 2003 and obtained admission to Idaho in 2014. In addition to her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, Lisa also earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Government in 1994 from Eastern Washington University. Lisa is a member of the Washington and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and serves on the WAELA Board as a Director. She is a Trustee for the WSBA Administrative Law Section, a member of the WSBA Elder Law Section, and serves on the Spokane County Superior Court Title 11.88 Guardian ad Litem Registry and Forms Committee. Lisa is the past president of the Spokane Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers (2010-2011) and is a graduate of Leadership Spokane. “I am honored to carry the legacy of Winston & Cashatt forward as a Principal and to continue doing the right things for the right reasons.”
